Dr Tim is a born and bred local who joined the team in 2023. Having completed his childhood dream of flying Blackhawk Helicopters in the Army, Tim studied Dentistry at James Cook University in Cairns before returning to Army to complete his 25 years of service. He is well acquainted with the rigours of military life that many of our local defence families endure having been deployed on a number of warlike and non warlike operations over this time.

Dr Tim enjoys all aspects of general and restorative dentistry but has a special interest in removal of wisdom teeth and dental implants. He also finds great satisfaction in relieving pain and keeping natural teeth as long as possible through Root Canal Therapy. Tim believes that his patient’s should receive treatment that is up-to-date and evidence-based; so he enjoys attending professional development courses to make sure he’s at the cutting edge of dental research and development.

Dr Tim has three young kids with his GP wife Dr Ros. Outside of Dentistry and child wrangling, Tim also enjoys dinghy sailing and working on creating the perfect homemade pizza.
