About Us

After working in Townsville for 11 years for the Australian Defence Force and in private practice, Dr Darren Burch decided it was time for change of direction for him and his family and so decided to design and build a purpose-built dental practice in 2013. Our doors officially opened on 23 January 2014. We are conveniently located on the corner of Bamford Lane and Ross River Road in Kirwan and have ample parking for all our patients.

We are also a QIP nationally accredited dental practice which means — “Achieving accreditation demonstrates a commitment to the provision of excellent dental care and continuous quality improvement within the practice.“

FASTBRACES

FASTBRACES are an amazing alternative to traditional braces. Invented and patented by leading Orthodontist Dr Anthony Viazis in the US in 1986, Fastbraces’ revolutionary triangular brackets mean shorter treatment times, more gentle movement and don’t involve the extraction of teeth. They are suitable for children and adults alike. Dr Darren was awarded the title of ‘Senior Master Provider’ by Dr Viazis in Dallas TX in 2019. Dr Darren practices Orthodontics a general dentist. Fastbraces consultations with Dr Darren are free.
